Day 1: Jaipur to Chittorgarh (310 km, 5-6 hour drive)
Morning
Depart from Jaipur early in the morning (around 7:00 AM) and drive towards Chittorgarh. Enjoy the scenic countryside of Rajasthan on your way.
Arrival in Chittorgarh
Time: 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM
Check in at your hotel in Chittorgarh. Freshen up and have lunch at a local restaurant or your hotel.
Afternoon: Chittorgarh Fort Tour
1. Chittorgarh Fort
Time: 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Visit the Chittorgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the largest fort in India. This fort is known for its tales of valor and sacrifice.
Highlights:
Vijay Stambh (Tower of Victory): A 9-story tower built to commemorate the victory of Maharana Kumbha over the rulers of Gujarat.
Kirti Stambh (Tower of Fame): A smaller yet significant tower dedicated to Jainism.
Rana Kumbha Palace: Ruins of the palace that tell tales of Rajput bravery.
Padmini Palace: The residence of Queen Padmini, whose beauty led to the siege of Chittorgarh.
Gaumukh Reservoir and Meera Temple.
2. Local Market and Dinner
After exploring the fort, take a stroll through the local markets for Rajasthani handicrafts and souvenirs.
Return to your hotel for dinner.
Overnight Stay in Chittorgarh
Day 2: Chittorgarh to Udaipur (120 km, 2-hour drive)
Morning
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Udaipur, also known as the Venice of the East.
Arrival in Udaipur
Time: 11:00 AM
Check in to your hotel in Udaipur. Freshen up before starting your Udaipur exploration.
Afternoon: Udaipur Sightseeing
1. City Palace
Time: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Begin your Udaipur sightseeing with a visit to the magnificent City Palace, one of the largest palace complexes in Rajasthan. Overlooking Lake Pichola, the palace showcases a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture.
Highlights: Mor Chowk (Peacock Courtyard), Zenana Mahal, Crystal Gallery, and stunning views of Lake Pichola.
2. Lunch
Time: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Have lunch at a rooftop restaurant with views of Lake Pichola and Jag Mandir.
3. Jagdish Temple
Time: 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Visit the Jagdish Temple, a large Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is known for its intricate carvings and stunning architecture.
4. Saheliyon Ki Bari
Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens), a beautiful garden with fountains, lotus pools, marble pavilions, and lush greenery. It was built for the royal ladies to spend leisure time.
5. Sunset at Lake Pichola
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola during sunset. This lake offers a panoramic view of the City Palace, Jag Mandir, and the surrounding hills.
Evening

Day 3: Udaipur Sightseeing and Return to Jaipur
1. Sajjangarh (Monsoon Palace)
Time: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
After breakfast, visit the Monsoon Palace or Sajjangarh Palace, perched on a hilltop overlooking Udaipur. The palace offers panoramic views of the lakes and the city.
2. Fateh Sagar Lake
Time: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Visit Fateh Sagar Lake, a beautiful artificial lake surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. You can enjoy boating or simply relax by the lakeside.
3. Shilpgram
Time: 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
Head to Shilpgram, a rural arts and crafts complex where you can explore traditional handicrafts, textiles, and folk performances.
Lunch
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before departing for Jaipur.
4. Departure from Udaipur to Jaipur
Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Start your drive back to Jaipur in the afternoon, covering approximately 400 km in 6-7 hours.
